- poor nutrition (lack of fruit and vegetables in the diet, excess of foods rich in trans fats and saturated fats);
- kidney disease, diabetes mellitus and some other related conditions and diseases.
Many of these factors are interconnected and mutually reinforcing. Some of them can be controlled (e. g. diet and nutrition, sleep, physical activity, weight, alcohol consumption, smoking). Classification
